The St. Louis Blues (44-30-8) fell 5-3 to the Winnipeg Jets (56-22-4) in Game 1 of their first-round Stanley Cup Playoff series Saturday night at Canada Life Centre. Despite briefly taking the lead in the second period, the Blues were unable to hold off a late surge from Winnipeg.
