Blues Back On The Road
The St. Louis Blues open up a three-game road trip tonight in Edmonton against the Oilers.
The Blues have dropped five consecutive road games, with all the defeats coming in regulation by a combined score of 25-9.
Can Blues Finally Win Three Straight?
Once again, the Blues have a chance to win three straight games - something they haven’t accomplished all season long. They have gotten smoked in all four previous opportunities to win three in a row, losing those games by a combined score of 24-9.
The Blues will get a lift tonight though with the return of Dylan Holloway to the lineup. He has been out since December 12th with a high ankle sprain.
Oilers Missing Draisaitl
The Oilers are contending per usual this season, as they reside in second place in the Pacific Division. Connor McDavid leads the NHL with 83 points and has been on a tear lately with at least one point in 21 of his last 22 games, posting a ridiculous 19 goals and 28 assists during that stretch.
McDavid will be missing his running mate tonight in Leon Draisaitl, who is on a brief leave of absence tending to a family situation. The Oilers didn’t miss Draisaitl last night though in routing the Canucks 6-0.

The Blues on the road trying to win a third straight game? No thanks.
Every time Blues fans have felt some momentum building this season, the rug has been swept out from underneath them. And when it comes to sports gambling, I want to fade a team that hasn’t displayed an ability to come through in spots like this.
I wouldn’t dissuade you from taking the Oilers on the moneyline as a standalone at -155, but you can have some fun with the NFL playoffs today to give yourself a better price. If you combine the Oilers to win with Puka Nacua to get at least 70 receiving yards (which is something he has done in 14 of the 16 games he has started and finished this season), that gives you a plus money price.
