2025 Stifel Charity Classic Preview

The Stifel Charity Classic presented by Compliance Solutions returns to Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, September 1-7, 2025, bringing one of the strongest fields of the PGA TOUR Champions season to the Gateway City.

Now in its fifth year, the tournament will feature a world-class roster of 78 players, including Hall of Famers Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, and Bernhard Langer, as well as major champions Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard, Padraig Harrington, and defending champion Y.E. Yang. St. Louis favorite Jay Haas is also set to compete. With $2.1 million in prize money and a winner’s share of $315,000, the stakes are large as players battle for positioning in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs.

Besides just the action on the course, the Stifel Charity Classic offers fans an expanded Fan Zone presented by Mercy, the debut of the Kids Zone and Kids Autograph Zone, and interactive attractions such as Putt for Charity, where participants can take their shot at winning $10,000. 

Special events throughout the week include the Charity Putting Challenge on September 2, the Youth Golf Clinic on September 3, and the moving Folds of Honor Friday ceremony on September 5. Adding to it, O.A.R. will perform live at the Community Concert presented by CarShield on Friday evening.

Since its inception in 2020, the tournament has generated more than $3.4 million for local organizations. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis, Marygrove, RecoVET, and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, continuing the tournament’s mission of giving back to the community.

Tournament play runs September 5-7, with all three rounds televised live on Golf Channel, showcasing St. Louis and Norwood Hills to a worldwide audience.
