The St. Louis Blues (33-28-7) dismantled the Anaheim Ducks (29-31-7) in a 7-2 victory at the Enterprise Center on Sunday night. Before the game, Blues captain Brayden Schenn was honored for playing in his 1,000th NHL game last month.

Game Recap:
The captain wasted no time making an impact, scoring just 41 seconds into the game off a Dylan Holloway pass. Pavel Buchnevich doubled the lead less than a minute later, redirecting a Jake Neighbours pass.
Despite recording just four shots in the second period, the Blues converted on three of them. Holloway extended the lead to 3-0 with a power-play one-timer from the top of the circle. Anaheim’s Cutter Gauthier responded moments later, cutting the lead to 3-1 off a rebound. Radek Faksa restored the three-goal advantage at 15:39 in the second, and Mathieu Joseph added a short-handed tally on a 2-on-1 rush at 18:10, making it 5-1.
Anaheim’s Nikita Nesterenko trimmed the deficit to 5-2 early in the third, deflecting a Gauthier pass past Jordan Binnington. However, Neighbours notched St. Louis’ second power-play goal with 6:18 left, and Oskar Sundqvist added a third power-play marker at 12:19 to seal the 7-2 win.
“It’s been awesome. Obviously, winning is awesome,” Kyrou said. “We love winning in this building, playing in front of our fans. It’s good that we’re doing that and we just want to keep that up.”
Notable Performers:
Jordan Binnington stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%).
Dylan Holloway & Jake Neighbours each had a goal and an assist.
Jordan Kyrou recorded three assists, tallying six points (3G, 3A) in his last two games.
