The Blues are now 6-1-1 since returning from the two-week break for the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Game Recap:
First Period: Toropchenko opened the scoring with a wrist shot to give the Blues an early lead. The Ducks responded late in the period, tying it 1-1 on a power play after St. Louis took its second delay of game penalty.
Second Period: Schenn put the Blues back on top 2-1 midway through the frame, capitalizing on an Anaheim defensive error.
Third Period: Zach Bolduc extended the lead to 3-1 with a breakaway goal. The Ducks pulled within one late in the game, but Schenn's empty-netter reestablished a two-goal cushion at 4-2. Anaheim made a final push, scoring with 40 seconds remaining, but the Blues held on.
Cam Fowler, in his first return to Anaheim since being traded in December, tallied two assists.
