No. 14 Missouri (21-7, 10-5 SEC) overwhelmed South Carolina (11-17, 1-14 SEC) with a dominant 101-71 victory Tuesday night at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers’ high-powered offense and three-point efficiency proved too much for the Gamecocks, securing Mizzou’s 10th conference win of the season and moving them to fourth in the SEC standings.

Key Points:

Grill Leads the Charge: Caleb Grill poured in a team-high 22 points, while Anthony Robinson II contributed 14 points and matched a career-high with eight assists.

Balanced Attack: Missouri had six players score in double figures for the second time this season, including Mark Mitchell and Tony Perkins, who each finished with 13 points.

Deadly from Deep: The Tigers shot an impressive 58% from beyond the arc (11-19) and 64% from the field overall.

Taking Care of the Ball: Mizzou committed just seven turnovers— a drastic improvement from the 18 they had in their previous game at Arkansas.

Dominant Run: After leading just 11-9 five minutes into the game, Missouri erupted for a 16-4 run to take a commanding 27-13 lead with 10 minutes left in the first half. Mark Mitchell had a key stretch in the second half, scoring five points in a row during a critical run that pushed Mizzou's lead to over 20.

Gamecocks Go Cold: South Carolina struggled from three-point range, making just 2-of-23 attempts.

Tiger Defense: Missouri’s defense was equally impressive, forcing the Gamecocks into difficult shots and limiting them to just 37% shooting overall.
