Blues Head To Nashville

The St. Louis Blues begin a two-game road trip tonight in Nashville against the Predators.

The Blues play the Preds tonight and the Stars on Wednesday before taking a few weeks off for the Olympic break.

Dads Trip Is Here

The Blues have dropped six of their last seven games, but they should get a jolt of energy tonight. This trip to Nashville and Dallas marks the annual dads trip where the players’ dads go on the road with the team.

The Blues will be looking for a similar performance to last time they played Nashville, as they beat the Predators 3-2 back on December 27th in St. Louis.

Nashville In The Race

The Preds snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win at the Islanders last time out. It was just Nashville’s second victory in their last seven games.

The Predators are in the thick of the playoff race however. They are just 4 points behind Utah for the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.

My Pick

I have no data behind this play. All I know is when I was a kid and playing sports and my dad was watching me, I wanted to make sure I performed my absolute best.

In an 82-game season - especially one like this that isn’t going well - sometimes you need a different vibe to give you a burst of energy.

This is a total narrative play, but I want to lean into the dads trip angle and bet on the Blues to beat a team that isn’t playing very good hockey right now either.

Pick: Blues on the moneyline at +120 on DraftKings (bet to +100)
