Blues, Stars Meet Again
The St. Louis Blues face the Dallas Stars for the second time in less than a week when the two teams get together tonight at Enterprise Center.
The Stars won last Friday’s matchup 3-2 in Dallas on a goal with one minute left in regulation.
Blues Try To Stop Skid
The Blues are hoping to end a four-game losing streak this evening. They at least earned a point in Saturday’s 5-4 shootout loss to Los Angeles, dropping their record in overtime games this season to 1-9.
The Blues have been playing well at home lately with points in their last five games (4-0-1). They’ve only lost one of their last nine games at Enterprise Center in regulation with a record of 6-1-2.
Stars Are Rested
The Stars have the rest advantage this evening having not played since Friday’s victory over the Blues. It was just the 4th win in the past 15 games for Dallas.
The Stars have struggled to score during that 15-game stretch, as they’ve notched more than 3 goals just three times.
My Lean
My lean for last week’s matchup with the Blues and Stars was the under, and that came through with a 3-2 final. I see no reason to steer away from that tonight with under 5.5 goals cashing in 14 of the last 17 meetings between these teams.
Dallas is not in good offensive form, and the Blues are just flat-out bad offensively. They rank dead last in the NHL with 2.42 goals per game
Lean: Under 5.5 at -105 on DraftKings
