Blues Head To MSG

The St. Louis Blues are back in action tonight against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

The Blues won both meetings with the Rangers last season, including a resounding 5-2 victory at MSG in Jim Montgomery’s first game as head coach on November 25th of last year.

Blues Go For Two In A Row

The Blues are coming off a 2-1 victory on Long Island a couple days ago, and they are looking to win back-to-back games for just the second time this season.

The Blues have notched at least one point in 8 of their last 10 with a record of 4-2-4. They need to become more potent offensively though, as they have scored more than 3 goals just once in their last 14 games.

Rangers Reeling

The Rangers return home after picking up zero points on an 0-3 road trip to Vegas, Colorado, and Utah. New York has lost four in a row overall, with all of those defeats coming in regulation.

The Rangers rank 30th in the NHL with only 2.48 goals scored per game, but they are 4th-best defensively with just 2.65 goals against per game.

My Lean

The Rangers are the best under team in the NHL, with the under going 15-8 in their 23 games overall and 7-2 at home.

The Blues are 11-11 to the under, with the under going 7-2 when they’re an underdog like they are today.

The Blues have also been better defensively this month after a horrific October. Under 5.5 goals has cashed in 8 of their 11 games here in November.

This total is priced properly, so you’re not really getting value in this selection. But if you’re inclined to bet this game, I think under 5.5 is the most likely outcome.

Lean: Under 5.5 at -118 on DraftKings
