As of the time of this writing, the Blues are a +120 underdog to end their streak on Monday at Enterprise Center where they are just 1-4-2 this season.

The Blues’ last two defeats in this losing skid have both come by one goal. They have yet to win a one-goal game this season with a record of 0-1-2.
A power play goal by Columbus was the difference in Saturday’s 3-2 loss, as the Blues continue to struggle on the penalty kill. They rank 27th in the NHL with a 69.7% success rate, and they are up against the Oilers’ lethal power play that ranks 1st in the league at 33.3%.
Oilers’ Stars Showing Out
The Oilers are coming off a 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks this past Saturday, as Connor McDavid led the way by assisting on all three goals.
Both McDavid (17 points in 13 games) and his superstar teammate Leon Draisaitl (16 points in 13 games) are in excellent form right now. Draisaitl has been on fire in particular over the last 5 games with 4 goals and 5 assists. McDavid has 3 goals and 7 assists over his last 7 games.
My Lean
There’s just no way you can bet on the Blues with this horrible funk they’re in right now, and they’re facing an Edmonton team that beat them in all three meetings last season.
For a team that’s struggling defensively like the Blues, maybe the last team you want to see across the ice from you is the Oilers - especially with McDavid and Draisaitl in their current form.
If you’re going to bet this one, I would take a shot on Edmonton -1.5 at a big plus money price, as it would be a pleasant surprise to see the Blues shut down this offense.
