Following the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, the St. Louis Blues have bolstered their prospect pool with first-round pick Justin Carbonneau, adding elite scoring to a group rich with potential. From power forwards to shutdown defensemen, this pipeline is poised to inject themselves into the lineup as soon as the coming 2025-26 season.
Honorable Mention: Aleksanteri Kaskimaki (RW, AHL, 20)
Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, a 20-year-old right winger, was just inside the top-10 before the acquisition of defenseman Logan Mailloux. He recorded 34 points (11 goals, 23 assists) in 63 AHL games (0.54 PPG) this season, a 54.3% increase from his 2023-24 Liiga season. While his -6 plus/minus (-0.10 per game) could be improved upon in his second full season in North America, his quick hands, playmaking, and high hockey IQ stood out last season.
Kaskimaki’s offensive skill is evident in his ability to create scoring chances and drive play on the right wing. With further AHL development, he projects as a middle-six scoring winger, potentially contributing 40-50 points in the NHL. He should make his way back inside the top-10 when players like Jimmy Snuggerud and Mailloux drop off the list.
10. Jakub Stancl (LW, WHL/AHL, 19)
Jakub Stancl, a 6’3”, 198-pound left winger, led the struggling Kelowna Rockets with 57 points in 58 WHL games, posting a 0.98 PPG.
