With the 2025 NHL Draft just days away, the Blues are positioned to build on a pipeline that’s trending in the right direction. Before any new names are added, here’s a full snapshot of the top 20 prospects currently in the organization — a mix of high-end skill, long-term projects, and players knocking on the NHL door.

Tier 1: Core Building Blocks

1. Dalibor Dvorský, C

The crown jewel of the pipeline. Dvorský plays a mature, two-way game and already looks like a future top-six NHL center. His AHL showing suggests he’s close to NHL-ready.

2. Jimmy Snuggerud, RW

One of the most dangerous shooters outside the NHL. Snuggerud blends high-end scoring ability with a power-forward mentality. He’ll push for NHL time this fall.

3. Otto Stenberg, C/LW

Plays fast, smart, and confidently in all three zones. After a strong 2024–25 campaign, he looks like a future middle-six mainstay with special teams upside.

4. Adam Jiříček, RHD

Still working his way back from injury but boasts top-four tools — smooth skating, high IQ, and poise under pressure. A strong development year could fast-track him to St. Louis.

5. Theo Lindstein, LHD

Quietly one of the most reliable defenders in the system. Mobile and composed, Lindstein projects as a top-four, all-situations defenseman with big minutes ahead.

Tier 2: NHL Regulars-in-Waiting

6. Tomas Mrsic, C/W

A breakout WHL season has vaulted him into serious prospect territory. With slick hands and creative instincts, Mrsic projects as a middle-six scorer.

7. Juraj Pekarcik, LW

An underrated QMJHL standout who plays a complete game. He could become a dependable bottom-six winger with special teams value.

8. Jakub Stancl, LW/C

Solid on the forecheck and adaptable to different roles, Stancl has the look of a third-line winger who can chip in offense and handle tough assignments.

9. Colten Ellis, G

Posted a .922 SV% in 42 AHL games last season. Quietly becoming one of the better goalie prospects in the league. NHL backup potential with starter upside.

10. Zach Dean, C

Defensive-minded center with strong PK skills. His offensive game may be limited, but he fits as a future fourth-line matchup option.

Tier 3: Intriguing Development Projects

11. Lukas Fischer, LHD

Smooth-skating OHL defender who keeps improving. If his decision-making sharpens, he could emerge as a second-pair NHL option down the line.

12. Adam Jecho, C/W

Big (6’5”) forward with high-end offensive potential. Needs time and consistency, but his ceiling makes him a name to watch.

13. Marc-André Gaudet, LHD

A steady presence on the Springfield blue line. While not flashy, he makes smart, simple plays and is tracking toward a depth NHL role.

14. Quinton Burns, LHD

After a breakout OHL season (+45, 49 points), Burns looks like a future shutdown defender. Physical and increasingly confident with the puck.

15. Michael Buchinger, LHD

Played meaningful AHL minutes as a rookie. A good puck mover who could become a third-pair regular in the NHL with some special teams utility.

16. Aleksanteri Kaskimäki, C/W

Strong AHL rookie season (34 points in 63 games). His north-south style and motor could fit well in a bottom-six NHL role.

17. Colin Ralph, LHD

Raw, long-term project with physical tools and size (6’4”). Heading to NCAA this fall. One to track over multiple years.

18. William McIsaac, RHD

Physical, structured defender with a strong WHL presence. May not be flashy, but could stick as a depth right-shot option in the future.

Tier 4: Depth Flyers & Fringe Upside

19. Simon Robertsson, RW

Still possesses a great shot and offensive instincts, but consistency and injuries have been a challenge. If he puts it together, he’s a bottom-six scorer.

20. Leo Lööf, LHD

Heavy-hitting, stay-at-home blueliner with AHL and SHL experience. Could become a depth option or No. 7 NHL defenseman down the road.

Final Thought

The Blues enter Draft Week with a healthy foundation — built around Dvorský, Jiříček, Snuggerud, and Lindstein — and a growing cast of AHL-ready contributors. With picks in the 1st, 5th, and 6th rounds, St. Louis has a chance to build on a deepening prospect pool that now blends skill, structure, and stability.

Stay tuned — this list will be updated again after the 2025 NHL Draft.
