Feb 23, 2020; St. Louis, Missouri, USA; Fans wait to enter the gates prior to the start of a game between the St. Louis Battlehawks and the NY Guardians at The Dome at America's Center.

Various reports from leading voices in UFL news report the league’s title game is returning to St. Louis this year.

According to dual reports from PFNewsroom and UFLNewsHub, St. Louis will host the UFL Championship Game on Saturday, June 14. This will be the second straight year the championship game will be held in the market of the league’s clear leader in attendance. Battlehawks fans hope this will be a home game for their beloved football team after falling just short last year.

Both reports indicate the league considered other markets to hold the title game, including Washington, D.C., and Seattle. However, both fields will be occupied by FIFA World Cup games and thus cannot be used. The league’s original plan was to rotate sites for championship games as per the XFL rulebook but could have wanted to avoid June weather in Texas and Alabama, bringing the game back to St. Louis once more.

The Battlewhawks currently attract the second-highest odds of winning the UFL Championship according to DraftKings Sportsbook at +35 (as of Feb. 21, 2025.) They are only behind the defending champion Birmingham Stallions at +200.
