Jordan Binnington remains one of the last stalwarts of the St. Louis Blues’ 2019 Stanley Cup team and is a wildly popular player among Blues fans. Last season, Binnington went 28-21 with a .913 save percentage and 33 quality starts.
This year, things haven’t been quite so kind to Binnington. Through 35 games, he’s 13-18 with a .898 save percentage with 18 quality starts. Binnington is spelled by Joel Hofer, the 24-year-old fourth-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft. However, he’s still had his moments, including this miraculous save during the Winter Classic against the Chicago Blackhawks:

Binnington was drafted by the Blues in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft. After a few years in the AHL, he burst onto the scene during the 2018-19 season with a 24-5 record, a .927 save percentage, and averaged 1.89 goals against.
This statline propelled him to first-team All-Rookie and put him 10th in Hart Trophy voting (league MVP,) second in the Calder Trophy voting (Rookie of the Year,) and fifth in Vezina Trophy voting (best goaltender). All this culminated in hoisting the Blues’ first-ever Stanley Cup.
