Through their first 18 games on the season the SLU Billikens are averaging 75.8 points per game. Almost 54 of those points, or 71% if them, come from three players: junior center Robbie Avila, and senior guards Gibson Jimerson and Isaiah Swope.

Avila, the big man transfer, averaged 17.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists for Indiana State last season, shooting 53.6 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from the arc while draining 61 3-pointers.
In two seasons at Indiana State, he registered 1,007 points. This year, Avila is averaging 18.3 points per game to lead the team. He is second to Kalu Anya in rebounding, averaging 6.6 per game to Anya's 9.4. Avila has hit 28 3-pointers so far on the season.

Gibson Jimerson, who will be all over the Saint Louis University men's basketball record books when the season ends, is second on the team at 17.8 points per game. A third-team All-Conference player a year ago, Jimerson averaged 15.8 points per game while shooting 39.9 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from 3-point range and 86.4 percent from the free throw line. Jimerson's 79 3-pointers made last season was sixth best in a single-season in SLU history. So far this year, he has hit 58 3-pointers, knocking down 39.2% of his attempts.

Another Indiana State transfer putting up big numbers is Isaiah Swope. The senior from Newburgh, Indiana is just behind Jimerson at 17.7 points per game. Swope has knocked down 52 3-point shots on the season and he also leads the team with 85 assists on the season. Swope has also made his presence felt on the defensive end as he is second on the team with 20 steals.
